Although our Crazy Quilt is constructed as a basic patch quilt,
there is absolutely NO piecing involved in our Crazy Quilt BLOCKS.
Sounds crazy, huh? We even have optional fancy fringed edges!
Each block is actually cross stitched to LOOK like fine lace and brocades
stitched together with lots of embellishments like decorative stitches,
buttons, bows, birds, flowers.... and so much more!

Since the designs are actually cross stitched into each Crazy block,
your finished project will have a smooth top, making it child and pet friendly,
and easily washed and dried at home!

**SUGGESTED FABRIC AMOUNTS & PRE-CUT SIZES**
If you order designs for your 5" x 7" hoop,
it is suggested that you purchase 15 yards of 45" wide black or other dark fabric,
pre-cutting each block to 9" x 11".
If you order designs for your 6" x 10" hoop,
it is suggested that you purchase 20 yards of 45"wide black or other dark fabric
pre-cutting each block to 10" x 14".
If you order designs for your 6" x 6" hoop,
it is suggested that your purchase 15 yards of 45" black or other dark fabric
pre-cutting each block to 10" x 10".

We suggest that you......
1.) use a tightly woven medium weight dark fabric.
2.) use 2 layers of medium weight cut away stabilizer.
3.) stitch with 40 or 50 weight thread.
4.) for special effects, try using a 30 weight thread
for some of the decorative embellishment backstitches.

YOU SAID IT..........Words from our customers about this ensemble!
1.) Mary Jane -- WOW!! Those are gorgeous!! So now I know WHY I bought all that black stabilizer when it was on sale 6 months ago. It's almost the same as the stabilizer I used on the other blocks, but black! The few jump stitches there were, were large enough to see, and the way you digitized it, the design didn't stitch OVER the jump stitches, which is one of my pet peeves with some digitizers. You probably will want to warn people that they take a lot of time to stitch out (but as I said before, they are so well digitized, I felt comfortable starting a color I knew would take awhile, then leaving the house). (These are comments from the wonderful lady that did my model stitching for this project.)
2.) Janet -- I downloaded the free designs, ordered the row-by-row designs on early automatic delivery, and bought 16 yards of fabric. I had never stitched any of your designs. I did the free blocks today, and they are beautiful. I am going to love this quilt if I stick with it and finish it. Thanks for digitizing such lovely designs.
3.) Kay -- I've been working on your Crazy Quilt designs and am now "hooked" on your cross stitch.
4.) Lilia -- I just got the first row of the Crazy Quilt and can't wait to stitch them out! Oh some of them are just so adorable like the shelf with the little toys and the flowers....well....hey they all are just so WONDERFUL!
5.) Kay -- Am still amazed. Have started embroidering the designs and am so pleased. I have the cross stitch program with my Artista software and have never opened it. In fact, have never sewn out a cross stitch design before downloading your samples. The monitor and web page just does not do the designs justice.
6.) Linda -- I am nearly done stitching the little test with the bird bath. It is quite nice. It stitched with no difficulty. I look forward to trying this project. I like the lack of jump stitches in the design.

While the Row-By-Row ensembles are quite large overall, each one is created so that it can fit anyone's budget. It is NOT necessary to purchase all the rows. You may purchase only one row and stitch the designs repeatedly to make as few or many of the projects as you choose. Using different colors and turning blocks in different directions can give them a completely different look as well.
