Our Regal Splendor Quilt is basically a traditional nine-patch quilt with sashing.
Each of the eight "border patches" consist of 16 designs,
and the center medallion patch has 9 designs,
the wallhanging has 16 designs
for a grand total of 153 cross stitch designs for the complete ensemble.
Designs can be stitched in either one or two colors -- whichever is your preference!
Most files have NO JUMP STITCHES!
This is an ideal project for a novice embroiderer!
If you're not a quilter, just hem the edges and use the quilt top as a bedspread!

For the rest of the ensemble.....
1.) I used two patches to upholster one of my antique chairs and wrapped it in a crocheted dresser scarf. (Yes, you see it again in the mirror.)
2.) I used one patch for a tabletopper on my round table.
3.) The wallhanging features companion designs to the quilt with added detail to look like antique filet crochet!
4.) Use just the center four blocks from a couple patches for the small throw pillows and some of the remaining blocks for the larger pillows.

We will be making each of the nine patches available as individual sets
for your 4x4 hoop, 5x7 hoop, or your 6x10 hoop.
You can complete your Regal Splendor Quilt Ensemble
by stitching all nine of the quilt patches and adding the wallhanging,
or customize your quilt with as few or as many patches as you please!

**PROJECT IDEA**
Complete assembly instructions are included for stitching each "patch".
Instructions for constructing the entire traditional nine-patch quilt
for a queen/full bed (finished quilt size 86" x 86") will be available
with Patch 5 -- The Center Medallion.

Our models were all stitched on 100% cotton black broadcloth fabric
with Marathon Rayon #1224 thread, using heavyweight cutaway stabilizer.
In the quilt, I used designs for the 5x7 hoop.
In the wallhanging, I used designs for the 6x10 hoop.
