These Lacy Dresden Plates
were created with the PR600's large 8" x 12" hoop (200mm x 300mm) in mind.
For optimal design variations, all of the laces are interchangeable.
You can stitch each plate with a DIFFERENT lace,
OR
stitch each plate with the SAME lace!
These cross stitch designs have the look of delicate appliqué work.

This is a companion set to "Grandmother's Fans".


**EASY PROJECT IDEA**
Make a decorative wallhanging that is quilted in the hoop!
To use "quilt-as-you-go" or lap quilt technique, simply stitch a plate and lace (but NOT the last color).
Slide a layer of lowloft cotton batting under the hoop
and then a layer of quilt backing fabric under the batting.
Stitch the final color.
This will quilt the design in your hoop!
Unhoop your design and trim to square up all three layers!
Connect your blocks for an heirloom quality design.
