With silver snowflakes behind the angels, these designs can be stitched on either dark or light fabric. Imagine these little angels twinkling on your Christmas tree, or sliding them into a greeting card, or adding a special touch to gift wrap.

I have a set of the ornaments that are stitched on white linen napkins, and some that are stitched on dark royal blue felt.

The felt ornaments were stitched using sticky paper in the hoop -- not hooping the felt. To finish off these ornaments, I trimmed some into circles and some a little closer to the shape of the snowflake. I cut a piece of silver ribbon 7" long, then made a loop in the ribbon and tied a knot to hang the ornament. Next, I glued the loop to the back side of the ornament and then glued a second layer of felt on the back to hide all the stitching. I plan to make a collection of the snowflakes (without the angel design) to hang along with a garland that frames the doorway into my dining room.
